All-round ventilation
Hot air needs to escape somewhere, so we redesigned the SCAR 18’s exhaust vents to give it the best possible flow. In addition to making the entire rear of the machine an exhaust duct, the SCAR 18 retains its side vents, allowing it to exhaust hot air from the system. We even moved the heatsinks closer to the vents themselves, allowing hot air to exit the machine in a straight line and avoiding any recirculation.
Tri-Fan Technology
At the heart of any good laptop is a great cooling solution. Our new Tri-Fan technology directs air through precisely calculated cutouts in the chassis, sending airflow directly to internal components to keep them cool in all circumstances. A third auxiliary fan also helps send extra heat from the GPU directly to the heatsinks, helping to keep the machine cool during long video renders or gaming sessions.
